The Tresor Club is one of the most famous techno clubs in Berlin. It is installed in a former disused slaughterhouse. My apartment is right next to this club, exactly 2 minutes walk away. So, during the first weeks of my Erasmus, I went to this box 8 times. It is one of the easiest access boxes in the city. Indeed, in Berlin, club tickets are very popular and bouncers are very difficult. It is not uncommon to be refused entry. And when we get back, the friends we're with are not sure they'll come back. What is therefore practical with the Treasury is that when there are many of us, entry for all is almost guaranteed.

This club is composed of 2 main rooms and several smaller rooms. The upper room is a room with House, so quiet techno. The downstairs room sees DJs from industrial and acid techno, from harder techno. Personally, as a techno hardcore fan, I love the downstairs room.
The disadvantages of this box are that:
It's not always excellent music. Sometimes the sound is great and sometimes more disappointing. You can never be sure of the quality.
The club being easy to get into, there are a lot of internationals who are not really in the same mood as the Berliners in the clubs. For example, Berliners are not flirting in clubs, but internationals, like in France, are mainly there for that. Sometimes it spoils the evening a little.
The box does not contain any external components. You can go out and come back but there is no corner integrated into the box in which you can install yourself outdoors. Thus, it is quickly heavy and hot in the Treasury.

This club will always remain a must in Berlin and I will recommend it to all visitors to the city.
